Zelensky: Our Operation in Russia Achieved Outstanding Results
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed Kyiv’s involvement in today’s attacks deep inside Russian territory, according to a report by webangah news Agency.
In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Zelenskyy wrote: “Today, Vasyl Malyuk, Head of Ukraine’s Security Service, presented a report about a special operation. The result was extraordinary. This success belongs solely to Ukraine. From initial planning to full execution, it took one year, six months and nine days. This marks our longest operation as Russia’s invasion began.”
the message continued: “All forces involved in this operation successfully withdrew from Russian territory. I thanked General Malyuk for this achievement and instructed the Security Service to disclose operational details that can be made public.While we cannot reveal everything yet, this operation will undoubtedly be recorded in history.”
Zelenskyy emphasized: “Ukraine is defending itself – as it has every right to do. We’re making Russia understand it must end this war because Moscow started it and must now stop it. Glory to ukraine!”
In another message regarding tomorrow’s meeting between Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul, the president stated: “Today I received reports from our Defense Minister, Foreign Minister, General Staff heads and intelligence agencies about Ukraine’s defensive situation, our operational measures and diplomatic activities.” He added that short-term priorities had been set for Monday’s Istanbul talks led by Rustem Umerov.
The Ukrainian leader outlined three key demands:
- A complete unconditional ceasefire
- The release of all prisoners
- The return of abducted children
“To achieve lasting peace and security,” Zelenskyy concluded, “we need high-level meetings where national leaders can make crucial decisions about fundamental issues.”
