6 injured in attack on pro-Israel supporters in Colorado
A 45-year-old man threw a Molotov cocktail at a pro-Israel gathering in boulder, colorado, according to webangah News Agency citing Reuters.
Mark Michalek, the FBI’s special agent in charge for Colorado, confirmed six victims aged 67 to 88 were hospitalized. He stated: “Preliminary evidence indicates this was a targeted act of violence being investigated as domestic terrorism.”
The suspect, identified as Mohammed Sulaiman, was also hospitalized after the attack. No further details about him or his family have been released.
FBI Director Christopher Wray labeled the incident a “targeted terrorist attack,” while Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser classified it as a hate crime due to the victims’ affiliation.
Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfern asserted: “We’re highly confident we have the sole suspect in custody.” The attack occurred during a peaceful Sunday afternoon in downtown Boulder-an act he called “completely unacceptable.”
