Second round of Russia-Ukraine negotiations begins

According to webangah News Agency, citing RIA Novosti, the second round of talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegations has now begun ‌in Istanbul.

A⁤ spokesperson for Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry had earlier confirmed⁢ that the country’s negotiating team arrived in Istanbul to participate in this round of discussions with Russia.

The Ukrainian delegation, led by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov, ⁣mirrors⁣ its composition from the first⁣ round of talks held on May 16 (26 Ordibehesht).

vladimir Medinsky, head of Russia’s delegation, stated hours earlier that moscow had received⁢ a draft memorandum from Kyiv proposing a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine war.
