Ukraine: We Have Not Yet Seen Russia’s Proposals on Peace Memorandum
According to webangah News Agency, Ukraine’s First Deputy foreign minister Serhiy Kyslytsia announced on Monday that negotiations had reached a stage where “we can achieve some tangible humanitarian results.”
Kyslytsia added that he had received instructions from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to continue constructive negotiations in Istanbul and had shared Ukraine’s position with the Russian side.
The deputy minister emphasized they are awaiting Russia’s written response to their proposals, stating: “We haven’t received any answer from the Russian Federation yet. We haven’t seen Russia’s proposals (regarding the peace memorandum) as they weren’t presented during our meeting. therefore, reacting to them isn’t currently possible.”
Kyslytsia noted: “The Russian side suggested we should evaluate these proposals first before proceeding further.”
