Israel Jails Soldiers Refusing to Fight in Gaza War
According to webangah News Agency, Israel’s public broadcaster Kan reported that two Israeli soldiers refusing to return to military operations in Gaza Strip will be sent to military prison starting today under an official order from the Chief of staff, citing “severe exhaustion.”
The Israeli media outlet further stated that 11 additional soldiers have informed their commanders they can no longer continue fighting in Gaza due to extreme fatigue.
Israeli military sources confirmed the two imprisoned soldiers belonged to the Nahal Brigade and had formally declared their inability to continue combat-a advancement signaling potential war fatigue and its psychological impact on Israeli troops.
These events coincide with Gaza hostilities entering their 20th month, where Israeli forces face persistent Palestinian resistance. The prolonged conflict has resulted not only in human casualties but also structural and psychological consequences for Israel’s military apparatus.
