According to webangah News Agency, citing the Palestinian Data Center, the interrogation of Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime minister of the Zionist regime, has commenced in financial corruption cases.
Prosecutors questioned Netanyahu regarding the “Case 4000” corruption scandal involving bezeq-Walla.In this case, Netanyahu is accused of securing state financial benefits for Shaul Elovitch, majority shareholder of telecom giant Bezeq, in exchange for rescuing him from bankruptcy.
The company allegedly provided favorable media coverage on Walla-an influential news website owned by Elovitch-to support Netanyahu and his wife Sara. Beyond fraud and breach of trust, Netanyahu also faces bribery charges in this case.
