Lavrov Stresses Need for Direct Talks Between India and Pakistan
Russia’s Foreign Ministry stated that its Foreign Minister, during talks with the Special Assistant to Pakistan’s Prime Minister, emphasized the necessity of direct dialogue between New Delhi and Islamabad.
According to a report by webangah News Agency citing Sputnik News Agency, Russia’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Tuesday confirming discussions between its Foreign Minister and the special Assistant to Pakistan’s Prime Minister.
The statement from Russia’s Foreign Ministry highlighted that Sergey Lavrov, the country’s top diplomat, stressed the importance of direct talks between India and Pakistan.
Sergey lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister, and sayed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to Pakistan’s Prime Minister, also discussed the current state of relations between pakistan and India.
