Over 200 prisoners escape from Pakistani jail amid earthquake chaos.

According to ⁤ webangah ​News‌ Agency, more than 200 inmates fled a prison in Karachi, Pakistan, following an earthquake that struck the ⁤city.

Pakistan’s ⁤ dawn newspaper‌ reported that prisoners were temporarily moved outside their ‍cells for headcount procedures after the⁤ quake. During this disruption, over 200 detainees ⁤seized the possibility to escape.

Authorities confirmed ⁣that 78 escapees have been recaptured so ⁤far.

One prisoner was killed during clashes with police forces, while⁤ another was turned in by his mother.

The manhunt continues to locate and apprehend the remaining ⁤fugitives.
