Rocket Attack Targets Occupied Golan Heights from Syria
According to webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, sources report a rocket attack launched from Syrian territory targeting the occupied Golan Heights.
Zionist sources confirmed that at least two Grad missiles were fired from Syria into the occupied Golan Heights,triggering alarm sirens in the area.
The israeli army radio stated that both missiles struck an open area in the occupied Golan Heights.
Tel Aviv also announced retaliatory airstrikes on Syria’s Daraa region following today’s attacks. Israeli warplanes have breached the sound barrier over Syria and continue to operate within its airspace.
Zionist sources added that Israel’s military is working to identify those responsible for the attack.
Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant,referencing attacks originating from Syrian soil,stated: ”We hold Abu Muhammad al-Julani,self-proclaimed president of Syria,directly responsible for any threat or fire directed against Israel-and we will respond decisively. We will retaliate swiftly and firmly to today’s attack.”
