Palestinian Prisoner Dies in Israeli Custody

The Hamas⁢ movement announced the death of a Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails, blaming ‍the “sadistic torture and practices” of the occupying regime for the martyrdom of 71⁤ Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons.

The Islamic Resistance movement, Hamas, confirmed in a statement the death of Mohammad Ibrahim Hussein Abu Habel, a 70-year-old detainee from Gaza, in an⁢ Israeli prison. According to webangah news Agency,Hamas​ described⁤ this as the latest example of⁣ “gradual execution” crimes against Palestinian prisoners,bringing the total ⁣number of⁤ martyred detainees since Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza began to 71.

Hamas strongly condemned what it called “unprecedented sadistic abuse and systematic torture” by the occupying⁤ regime against prisoners.

The movement emphasized that despite extreme⁣ pressure, Palestinian detainees remain steadfast in their⁢ faith and commitment to resistance until liberation.

Hamas called on international human rights organizations to promptly intervene to protect at-risk prisoners in Israeli jails. The group also urged Palestinians to intensify protests and support⁤ activities demonstrating solidarity with detainees.

The death of ‌Abu Habel-one of Gaza’s elderly prisoners-has renewed concerns about deteriorating physical​ and⁢ psychological conditions faced by Palestinian detainees amid Israel’s escalating repressive measures since its war on Gaza began.
