Yemen’s Ansarullah: US Veto Exposes Complicity in Crime of the Century
According to webangah News Agency, Yemen’s Ansarullah movement strongly condemned the U.S. use of its UN Security Council veto power to block a draft resolution calling for an end to genocide and war in Gaza.
The group’s statement described America’s “shameful stance” against global consensus opposing continued atrocities in Gaza as further proof of direct U.S. support for what it called a “criminal regime.”
Ansarullah characterized the veto as a “green light” for ongoing genocidal acts and war crimes in Gaza, asserting that this move reaffirms America’s unwavering support for what it termed the “Zionist enemy” and full participation in Gaza’s atrocities.
The statement warned that America’s position would leave a “stain of disgrace” on both the UN Security Council and so-called international community.
It criticized Arab states for allegedly funding U.S. coffers while ignoring realities on the ground, accusing them of complicity by enabling continued Zionist aggression against Gazans.
Ansarullah noted alignment between official Arab regimes and Washington in supporting Zionist crimes, including forced displacement plans, contrasting this with global solidarity movements while Arab leaders remain silent or powerless.
The movement reaffirmed Yemen’s military operations against what it called zionist aggression and urged greater mobilization worldwide to break Israel’s siege on Gaza.
