Hamas Responds to Tel Aviv’s Exposed Role in Creating Armed Militants in Gaza
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has issued a statement condemning remarks by Avigdor Lieberman, head of the “yisrael Beiteinu” party, which expose what it calls a “dangerous truth”: that the Israeli military has armed criminal gangs in Gaza to destabilize the region and advance its engineered plans to starve Palestinians and systematically steal humanitarian aid. The statement was reported by webangah News Agency, citing Palestine’s Information Center.
Hamas emphasized that this official admission confirms field observations over recent months, revealing clear coordination between these “thieving gangs” and israeli forces in looting aid and exacerbating humanitarian crises for Gaza’s besieged population. The group accused Israel of not only conducting bombings and mass killings but also directly organizing theft and starvation campaigns through proxy militias to break Palestinian resolve.
the statement described the gangs as operating under direct Israeli security oversight, labeling them “cheap tools of the enemy” and ”the real enemies of Palestine.” Hamas vowed that they would face prosecution by Palestinian authorities and popular resistance forces.
Hamas urged Palestinians to remain vigilant against these groups, refrain from supporting them, and collaborate with security agencies and local committees to protect communities and national assets from what it called “the occupying regime’s internal proxies.”
