Who Is the Terrorist Backed by Netanyahu in Gaza?
According to webangah News agency, Avigdor Lieberman, head of the “Yisrael Beiteinu” party and a former politician of the Zionist regime, today revealed a new Tel Aviv initiative in Gaza involving financial and arms support from Netanyahu’s cabinet for an ISIS-affiliated anarchist group.
Yair Lapid, leader of the opposition in the Zionist regime, also sharply criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of secretly arming groups linked to ISIS in Gaza. Lapid stated: “Netanyahu is supplying weapons from behind the scenes-without any strategic planning-to factions in Gaza connected with ISIS. These irresponsible actions will only lead to new disasters.”
He warned that weapons entering Gaza today would ultimately be used against Israeli military personnel and civilians.
Military & Security Objectives:
- Attempting to create a new version of the “Lahad Army” or rural dialog channels.
- Sowing division within domestic resistance factions.
- Turning occupied areas into intelligence strongholds for the Zionist regime.
Critical Security Consequences:

- Advancing Netanyahu’s conspiracies outside official institutional frameworks.
The Militant Receiving Tel Aviv’s Support: Who is Yasser Abu Shabab?
The 32-year-old Rafah-born militant emerged as a controversial figure after revelations about his group’s covert backing by Israel. Previously jailed on criminal charges before Operation Al-Aqsa Storm (2025), Abu Shabab was freed during an Israeli bombardment and quickly rose as commander of an armed faction now designated by Palestinian resistance as a “collaborationist cell.” His group patrols border zones, monitors resistance activity, and allegedly diverts humanitarian aid-with UN documents (via The Washington Post) implicating him in organized aid looting operations under coordination with Israeli forces. Tribal leaders from southern Gaza disavowed him on May 30, 2025; his own family later severed ties publicly.
