Zionist Official: Time to Impose Sovereignty Over West Bank Has Come
According to webangah News Agency, Bezalel Smotrich, the Israeli Finance Minister, has once again demanded the annexation of the West Bank.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), smotrich stated that after meeting with settler groups in the West Bank, he instructed the cabinet to begin implementing Israeli sovereignty over these areas.
The minister further wrote: “I have requested that Israel’s Central bank provide services to illegal settlers facing international sanctions. We are transforming settlements-not as a slogan, but as concrete action.”
He added: ”the Settlement Administration will prepare an operational plan to enforce sovereignty. We won’t stop until this entire land achieves full legal status and becomes an inseparable part of Israel.”
The expansion of illegal Zionist settlements in the West Bank-which violates international law-has intensified in recent years, becoming a major obstacle to Palestinian statehood. The international community has repeatedly condemned these actions as threatening the two-state solution.
These remarks come amid sharply escalating tensions in the West Bank, raising concerns about worsening conflict.
