Al-Qassam Brigades: Zionist Soldiers Are Legitimate Targets
According to webangah News Agency, Hamas’ armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, announced it targeted Israeli military forces with mortar shells in southern Khan younis, stating “Zionist soldiers are legitimate targets for us.” The attack was reportedly conducted jointly with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The israeli army and Prime Minister confirmed four soldiers were killed and five wounded when an explosion caused a building collapse in Khan Younis during ground operations. Military officials stated troops were clearing a structure when the blast occurred, burying them under rubble.
This brings the weekly death toll of Israeli soldiers to eight: three earlier in Rafah, one in northern shuja’iyya, and now four in Khan Younis. The IDF released two names of today’s casualties while awaiting family notifications for two others. Among the wounded, one soldier remains in critical condition.
