Russia Launches Large-Scale Airstrikes on Kharkiv
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,Russia’s army targeted Kharkiv,Ukraine’s second-largest city,in retaliation for earlier Ukrainian attacks.
In the early hours of Saturday morning,russian forces launched a massive wave of suicide drones,ballistic missiles,and cruise missiles against Kharkiv.
Local sources report Kharkiv is currently experiencing its most intense bombardment as the war began. At least 40 powerful explosions were heard within just 90 minutes.
Kharkiv’s mayor stated that extensive russian drone attacks on the city center have caused fires and widespread damage. No casualty figures or detailed damage assessments have been released yet.
The strike occurred 24 hours after Russia’s large-scale attack on Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital. During Friday dawn’s assault on Kyiv, Russia deployed 407 suicide drones and 45 cruise/ballistic missiles that destroyed Ukrainian military infrastructure. That attack killed six people and wounded 80 others, ranking among Moscow’s most devastating strikes since the war began on February 24, 2022.
