American Magazine: Yemeni Forces Disable USS Truman from a Distance
The American magazine National Interest reported that the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier will not be deployed on any missions in the near future, according to webangah News agency.
The report states that the lengthy process of refueling and overhauling the carrier, which will take several years, is set to begin.
The magazine emphasized that the Truman-previously deployed to counter Yemeni forces-has sustained important damage and is now heading toward a major repair phase.
Notably, this vessel has been a primary target of operations by YemenS armed forces.
Previously,the US military-focused outlet Stars and Stripes revealed the extent of damage inflicted on the Truman due to missile and drone attacks by Yemeni forces in the Red Sea.
