Zakharova: Ukraine Has No Need for Its Citizens, Dead or Alive

According to ⁤ webangah news Agency,Maria Zakharova,spokesperson for Russia’s foreign Ministry,stated‌ on Saturday that Ukraine “has no need ‍for its citizens,whether alive ‍or dead,” in reference to⁣ Kyiv’s ⁢refusal to accept the ⁤bodies of its fallen soldiers and engage in ⁣prisoner exchanges.

Speaking to Russian media, Zakharova asserted: “no nation or ethnic group in the world refuses to bury its own soldiers. Kyiv ⁢follows an anti-human ideology‍ and is committing genocide against its own peopel.”

The spokesperson‍ noted that Ukrainian authorities have yet to provide any clarification regarding this matter.

Vladimir Medinsky, ‌Russia’s chief negotiator, had previously claimed that the Ukrainian side unexpectedly postponed receiving remains and conducting prisoner‍ swaps without setting a new timeframe.
