Plane crashes in the US
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, a multi-passenger aircraft crashed in Coffee County, Tennessee, approximately 96 kilometers south of Nashville. The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed the incident.
In a Sunday afternoon post on X (formerly Twitter), highway authorities stated preliminary reports indicated between 16 to 20 people where aboard the aircraft. Some survivors were airlifted to nearby hospitals via helicopter, with emergency responders still active at the scene.
A subsequent Facebook post by officials confirmed multiple injured individuals had been transported by helicopter while others remained under evaluation at the crash site.
Tullahoma city spokesperson Lyle Russell told CNN no fatalities had been reported, though some victims sustained minor injuries. The crash occurred around 12:15 PM local time on June 8 at Tullahoma Regional Airport.
“Local authorities are securing the area,” Russell stated, adding that Federal Aviation Management (FAA) investigators were en route to begin their inquiry. Early law enforcement reports suggest the aircraft may have belonged to a skydiving company.
