Russia Launches Widespread Drone and Missile Strikes on Ukraine
Ukraine’s capital hit by large-scale Russian airstrikes.
According to webangah News Agency, Russia had vowed retaliatory strikes on Ukrainian territory following Kyiv’s drone attack on its strategic bombers. The capital is now experiencing these assaults.
The Ukrainian Air Force stated in a release that Russia has targeted Kyiv, along with eastern, western, adn southern regions of the country, using dozens of drones.
The mayor of Kharkiv reported that Russian forces have struck areas around the city with guided bombs.
Ukraine’s military confirms the activation of air defense systems to intercept Russian kamikaze drones. An official statement urged Kyiv residents to seek shelter immediately.
No casualty or damage reports have been released as of yet.
