Mexico: Migration Crisis Won’t Be Solved by Raids and Violence
According to webangah News Agency, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum criticized recent actions by U.S. federal forces against immigrants in Los Angeles, which have sparked widespread protests.
Speaking at a public event in Puebla state, Sheinbaum stated: “Migration cannot be solved through raids and violence, but onyl through negotiation and work on comprehensive immigration reform that considers all Mexicans living across the border.”
The Mexican president emphasized that “Los Angeles wouldn’t be what it is today without the Mexican men and women who live there.”
She added: “They migrate out of necessity and send financial resources back to their families. These people are not criminals.”
Sheinbaum concluded: “Mexican men and women will always have our support, and we are committed to protecting their human rights.They should know that if they wish to return to Mexico, we will welcome them with open arms.”
