Global Outcry Over Tel Aviv’s Seizure of the ‘Madelin’ Ship

The assault by Israeli forces on human rights activists has drawn fierce criticism globally. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of France’s left-wing “La France Insoumise” party, condemned the act as a blatant violation of international law, stating: “Protesting the seizure of the Madelin and demanding the release of volunteers must become a priority for European and UN foreign policy.”
Ahmet Davutoğlu, leader of Turkey’s Future Party and former Prime Minister, responded: “Tel Aviv’s savage attack on the Madelin once again demonstrates its mockery of international law.”
Zaher Birawi, head of the International committee for Breaking Gaza’s Siege, emphasized that Israel’s actions reveal systematic violations of international statutes.
UK Parliament member Jeremy Corbyn, former Labor party leader, criticized Britain’s ongoing military support for Israel: ”This government continues arming Israel – this must stop promptly.”
The father of French doctor Baptiste André aboard the Madelin expressed grave concern for his son’s welfare. Similarly, Dutch activist Mark Reinha’s sister stated they’ve contacted France’s Foreign Ministry demanding all detainees’ release.
