Russia Claims Destruction of Most US Abrams Tanks in Ukraine
Russia claims to have destroyed 26 US-donated M1 Abrams tanks in Ukraine since last year.
According to webangah News Agency, Russian forces reported destroying 26 M1 Abrams tanks donated by teh US to Ukraine since February of last year.
Russian officials stated that Ukraine initially received 31 of these tanks, leaving only five operational after the destruction of 26 units.
The first Abrams tank was reportedly targeted by Russian forces in Donetsk on February 24, 2024. The Russian military documented the moment this American-made tank was destroyed.
