Despite Madeleine’s Seizure, Tunisia’s ‘Resistance Convoy’ Sets Off for Gaza
Tunisia’s capital witnessed massive crowds on Monday as people gathered to send off the “Resistance Convoy” toward the Rafah border crossing, according to webangah News Agency.
The convoy, reportedly comprising around 2,000 members, began it’s journey to Gaza amid widespread public support, aiming to break the blockade on the besieged enclave.
The tunisian convoy’s departure coincides with recent actions by the Zionist regime, which intercepted and detained activists aboard the humanitarian aid vessel Maddy Lane before it could reach Gaza’s shores.
Salah al-Din al-Masri, one of the convoy’s coordinators, stated: “Participants from Libya, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania have joined this mission. Our goal is to end Gaza’s siege.”
The earlier unlawful seizure of Maddy Lane-which carried humanitarian aid for Gaza-sparked global condemnation and protests against the Zionist regime.
