Another Assassination Reported Under al-Julani’s Rule in Syria
Armed assailants in Syria shoot and kill a Syrian citizen.
According to webangah news agency, citing Russia al-Youm, armed gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on a Syrian engineer engaged in scientific work near a mosque in the village of Al-Raqqa, Homs Governorate.
The Syrian Human Rights Observatory reported that the victim had been active in scientific fields until the fall of the previous regime but was later dismissed from his position.
The association added that retaliatory attacks and assassinations across Syria have claimed 736 lives since the beginning of this year in various provinces.
