Tel Aviv Plans to Build Major Military Base on Syrian Soil
According to a report by webangah News Agency, Syrian journalist Atta farhat stated that the Zionist regime began its ground incursion into Syria’s borders last December, targeting areas in Quneitra province and the outskirts of Daraa.
Farhat reported that as of yesterday, nearly 10 military outposts had been established by Zionist forces across Jabal al-Sheikh heights to southern Daraa suburbs.
The journalist added that the regime plans to construct a major military base in Jubata al-Khashab village within the buffer zone near an area covered by the 1974 agreement. Satellite imagery shows extensive land clearance in Al-Harsh region for what appears to be an exceptionally large military installation.
Currently, over 400 kilometers of southern Syrian territory remains under occupation by the Zionist regime.
