Massacre of Palestinians Sheltering in Schools Is Genocide

The UN⁤ Independent International Commission⁢ of Inquiry stated that ⁢the⁣ Israeli regime’s‌ military has committed genocidal crimes by massacring civilians who sought refuge in schools and ⁣religious⁢ sites across ⁤the Gaza Strip.

According to webangah News ⁤Agency, the UN Independent international commission of ⁢Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the Israeli regime‌ reported that Zionist forces systematically targeted and killed civilians sheltering in educational and religious facilities. These actions are described as part⁢ of a intentional campaign to erase Palestinian life.

Navi Pillay, former‍ UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and head of the commission, stated: “mounting⁢ evidence indicates the Israeli regime has launched‍ an organized campaign to destroy Palestinian existence in Gaza.” She added: “Targeting education, culture, and religious institutions affects ⁢current and future generations while undermining their right to self-determination.”

The commission is preparing a report for submission to the UN Human Rights Council in‍ Geneva on June‌ 17. Its investigation evaluates attacks on educational, religious, and ⁣cultural infrastructure through the lens of international ⁤law violations. the latest⁤ findings reveal over 90% of ‌schools/universities and‌ more than half of Gaza’s religious-cultural sites have been destroyed by occupying forces.

The report documents intentional targeting⁣ of displaced civilians in these shelters. It emphasizes these violations extend beyond⁢ Gaza, ‍with intensified military operations across the West Bank including East Jerusalem.

Palestinian students and teachers face harassment from settlers alongside institutional repression. Zionist authorities have persecuted Arab-Jewish‌ educators/students within occupied territories who expressed solidarity ⁣with Gazan civilians-through dismissals, suspensions or humiliating arrests.
