Trump Mocks Los Angeles Local Officials
According to webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump strongly criticized local Los Angeles officials in a message on Tuesday.
The president stated: “If I hadn’t deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles, the city would have burned-just like the 25,000 homes that were destroyed because of its incompetent governor and mayor.”
The remarks come as nationwide protests continue against Trump’s racially charged policies, with the president blaming Democratic leaders in Los Angeles for the unrest.
The demonstrations, which began in Los Angeles, California, over Trump’s immigration policies have now spread to Dallas and austin in Texas. Dozens of protesters in dallas carried banners and flags condemning what they called oppressive immigration measures.
Reports indicate clashes occasionally turned violent in Dallas, with police declaring gatherings “unlawful” before dispersing crowds using tear gas.
