Russia and Ukraine Exchange Prisoners of War Again

The Russian Defense Ministry stated in a Tuesday announcement that the second group of Russian servicemen has been returned from Kyiv-controlled territories, while a group of Ukrainian soldiers was together handed over. The exchange occurred ​under the agreement ⁣reached during Istanbul negotiations.

This follows yesterdayS initial prisoner swap between ⁤Russia adn Ukraine, which‍ also took ⁤place under the Istanbul ‌negotiation framework. The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed‌ in a statement that young Russian soldiers under 25 were repatriated during Monday’s exchange.
