US: We Will Continue Negotiations With Iran
The U.S. and Iran have held multiple rounds of negotiations mediated by Oman to resolve disputes over IranS nuclear program, according to webangah News agency. Despite existing disagreements, both sides emphasize the need to continue discussions.
A U.S. State Department spokesperson stated: “While no major breakthrough has been achieved in talks with Iran, the progress made so far provides sufficient grounds to continue negotiations.”
Regarding sanctions imposed by some countries against far-right Israeli ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir, the spokesperson said: “We believe sanctions by five nations against Israeli officials are counterproductive and won’t contribute to achieving a ceasefire in Gaza.”
The American official called for resolving the Gaza conflict without addressing Washington’s unconditional support for what critics describe as Zionist atrocities against Palestinians. He stressed: “We remain concerned about any actions that might further isolate Israel from the international community.”
