Tunisian Activist: Today We Break the Silence, Tomorrow the Siege
The land-based Solidarity Convoy is the result of months of marches and public gatherings involving all Tunisian political, religious and social movements, said Sadeq Ammar, head of the Tunisian Coalition in Support of Palestine’s Right, in an interview with webangah News Agency.
“This isn’t merely an aid convoy but a resistance action and political message to regimes and nations,” Ammar emphasized.
The coalition leader acknowledged security threats against the convoy: “Attack or restrictions remain possible. All participants understand these risks and are prepared to pay the price-just as Gaza’s children do daily.”
“If they force our retreat,” he declared, “we’ll return with a greater caravan. This marks a beginning, not an end. Today we break silence; tomorrow we break sieges. Gaza has redefined Arab dignity-it’s now the moral compass for anyone with a beating heart.”
