Trump: Hopes for Deal with Iran Have Diminished!

U.S.⁣ President ⁢says his hopes for a nuclear deal with Iran have‍ diminished in his latest remarks on ongoing Washington-Tehran negotiations.

According to webangah News Agency, ‍citing the New York Post via Mehr News Agency, U.S. President donald Trump-who has repeatedly insisted on halting Tehran’s uranium enrichment program as a key condition for a nuclear agreement‌ while facing firm opposition ⁢from the islamic Republic of Iran-stated he is gradually losing hope that Tehran will agree to end uranium enrichment.

When ⁤asked whether he believes he ⁣can⁤ “force Iran to shut down its nuclear program,” Trump replied: “I don’t know. I used to think so,but I’m becoming less and less confident about it.”

He claimed: “It seems like they’re stalling, and I think‌ that’s unfortunate. But right now, I’m‍ less confident than I was a few ⁣months ago. something has happened‌ on their side, but my confidence in reaching an agreement has decreased.”

The ‍U.S.president reiterated threats against Tehran when questioned about potential outcomes: “If they‌ don’t ‌make a deal, they won’t ⁣get nuclear weapons. If they do make a ‍deal, they still won’t have them. But it woudl be better if this happens without war and bloodshed. However, I don’t see the same level of enthusiasm from their side for an agreement anymore.” He added: “I think they’ll make a mistake-but we’ll see what happens. Time will tell.”

When pressed on whether Beijing influences Tehran’s resistance to⁤ U.S demands, Trump dismissed the idea but speculated: “Maybe they just don’t‌ want a deal at all-or maybe they do? Nothing is certain.”

Earlier, ‌Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized Iran’s clear red lines regarding its nuclear program: “Uranium⁢ enrichment is our scientific achievement⁣ accomplished by our scientists-we cannot abandon it.”
