Kremlin: Russia Ready to Remove Excess Nuclear Fuel from Iran
according to webangah News Agency, citing Russia Today, Kremlin spokesperson dmitry Peskov confirmed that talks between Russia and the U.S. are ongoing, with a new round of diplomatic consultations set to take place. He acknowledged existing obstacles in bilateral relations.
The Kremlin considers rapid progress in U.S.-Russia negotiations unlikely, describing the dialog as progressing gradually.
Peskov further stated that Russia stands ready to facilitate the removal of Iran’s surplus nuclear fuel if required.
Regarding Moscow’s potential role in resolving Iran’s nuclear issue, Peskov emphasized: “We maintain continuous interaction with Tehran.”
The spokesperson also reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to its obligations under the Istanbul agreements, while urging Ukraine to fulfill its commitments regarding the transfer of casualties’ remains as stipulated in those accords.
