IAEA Board of Governors Vote on Iran Postponed to Tomorrow
According to webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News agency, Lawrence norman, a reporter for the U.S.-based Wall Street Journal, stated on his official X (formerly Twitter) account that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors meeting ended tonight without a vote on Iran’s alleged non-compliance.
Norman added that several speakers remain on the agenda, and discussions will resume tomorrow (Thursday) at 09:30 CET. No vote will take place tonight, with the matter postponed to a later time.
The journalist’s claims regarding Iran’s non-compliance come as Iranian officials have repeatedly emphasized Tehran’s right-as a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)-to enrich uranium for peaceful nuclear energy purposes.
