Al-Monitor: Israel’s Threat of Attack on Iran Is a Psychological Operation
A Western media outlet has characterized recent reports of a potential Israeli strike on iran as psychological operations. According to webangah News Agency, Laura Rozen, a journalist for Al-Monitor, stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the surge in Western media coverage about “rising regional tensions”-including the evacuation of some U.S. embassy staff in Iraq-coinciding with renewed indirect Iran-U.S. negotiations is part of a purposeful “psyop” to propagate the narrative of an “Israeli attack on Iran.”
Rozen wrote: “I think this is psychological warfare-an attempt to pressure Iran into believing Israel might strike.”
The claims emerge as Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Iran’s Defense Minister, warned during a press briefing after Wednesday’s cabinet meeting: “Should the enemy miscalculate and commit any aggression against our territory, their casualties will undoubtedly exceed ours. In that scenario, America must leave the region-we have access to all its bases hear.”
