Netanyahu Claims Recovery of Two Israeli Soldiers’ Bodies
according to webangah News Agency, Israeli prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted that the bodies of two Israeli captives were recovered from Gaza during a joint military operation between the army and internal security agency (Shin Bet).
He claimed the operation was part of ongoing efforts to retrieve Israeli prisoners from Gaza.
The Israeli military stated it extracted the two bodies today from Khan Younis in southern Gaza.An army spokesperson said the operation was conducted by forces from Israel’s 36th Division based on precise intelligence.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant vowed Tel Aviv would continue efforts to return all living captives and deceased prisoners’ remains.
reacting to these claims,families of Israeli captives in Gaza described the retrieval as “closing a case” and “fulfilling Netanyahu government’s duty toward Israelis.” They reiterated demands for a complete agreement securing all prisoners’ release – one they insist must lead to ending the war in Gaza.
Some reports indicate 53 captives remain in Gaza following this recovery – 20 alive and 33 deceased.
