U.S. Media Claims: Prospects of Iran-U.S. Talks Diminishing
An American outlet claims the likelihood of upcoming Iran-US talks, previously scheduled for Sunday, is now very low.
According to webangah News Agency, The Washington Post cited unnamed U.S. officials stating that the prospect of a new round of negotiations between Washington and Tehran by the end of the week appears highly unlikely.
The American newspaper reported that chances of holding talks between the U.S. and Iran this weekend are diminishing further, per its sources.
This claim comes as Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, told reporters on Tuesday that indirect Iran-U.S.discussions were being planned for next sunday in Muscat following consultations.
