US Set to Sanction Iran Ahead of Sixth Round of Nuclear Talks!
As a new round of indirect talks between Tehran and Washington approaches, the U.S. imposes fresh sanctions against Iran.
The U.S. Treasury secretary claimed, “We are enforcing a strategy of maximum pressure against Iran and those engaging in economic dealings with the country,” according to webangah News Agency.
The official added, “Today, I signed two executive orders imposing further sanctions on Iran.”
The Treasury Secretary stated, “We have taken specific measures targeting Chinese oil refineries.”
The U.S.’s unfriendly actions coincide with the scheduled sixth round of indirect negotiations between the two sides this Sunday.
While publicly expressing willingness to reach an agreement with Iran, Washington has repeatedly imposed sanctions throughout the duration of these talks.
