Trump: I Don’t Want Conflict with Iran; We’re Very Close to a Deal

According to ‍ webangah ⁣News Agency, U.S. ​President Donald Trump stated he prefers to avoid ​confrontation with Iran, though he ‌claimed⁤ Tehran must ⁢make concessions.

Reiterating his policy of threats, Trump asserted: “I won’t say an ⁢Israeli attack on⁢ Iran is imminent, but⁤ it’s possible. A large-scale regional conflict could occur.” In populist ⁣remarks,he added: “I want Iran to succeed.”

The U.S.⁣ president continued: “I want ⁢a deal with Iran, ⁣and ​we’ve come ⁣very close to achieving it.”

earlier, U.S. Defence Secretary pete Hegseth claimed: “President Donald Trump remains committed ‌to a peaceful ‍approach toward Iran.”

The U.S. advocates ⁣for diplomacy amid escalating tensions-imposing ‍new sanctions against Tehran and taking hostile action at the‍ IAEA Board of Governors ahead of the sixth‍ round of ⁣nuclear talks.
