U.S. Ambassador: Tel Aviv Won’t Attack Without Our Green Light
The US ambassador to the occupied territories stated that Tel Aviv is unlikely to launch an attack against Iran without Washington’s approval, according to a report by webangah News Agency citing Al Jazeera.
Speaking with Yedioth Ahronoth, the ambassador added: “Trump wants a deal with Iran, and achieving this would make him happy.”
The American envoy claimed that a peaceful resolution of Iran’s nuclear dossier does not mean the country would obtain nuclear weapons.
This comes as Iranian officials have repeatedly emphasized the peaceful nature of their nuclear activities. The ambassador’s remarks about a potential Israeli attack on Iran follow statements by US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, who acknowledged that Tel Aviv lacks the capacity to counter an Iranian response.
