Rubio: Israel Launched Unilateral Attack on Iran
webangah News Agency reports that following Israel’s attack on Iran, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a statement.
Rubio asserted that the United States played no role in these strikes, emphasizing that Washington’s top priority remains protecting American forces in the region. “Tonight, Israel acted unilaterally against Iran,” Rubio stated. “We had no involvement in these attacks, and our primary focus is safeguarding our personnel in the area.”
The Secretary added: “Israel informed us it deemed this action necessary for self-defense. President Trump and his management have taken all required measures to protect US forces, and we remain in close contact with our regional partners.”
Rubio concluded with a stark warning: “Let me be absolutely clear: Iran must not harm American interests or personnel.”
