Over 120 injured in Iranian missile attacks near southern Tel Aviv
According to webangah News Agency, Israel’s Walla news platform acknowledged that Iranian missile strikes on the cities of Bat Yam and Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv, have left over 100 people wounded. The attacks caused massive explosions and widespread damage.
Israeli media cited by Kan TV and Israel Hayom newspaper stated that iran’s dawn missile strikes on central occupied territories escalated a major security crisis, inflicting severe damage across Tel Aviv and surrounding areas.
The Israeli military radio confirmed dozens of residential buildings in Bat Yam sustained critical damage. Meanwhile, Channel 12 reported search operations for potential survivors trapped under rubble at impact sites.
The New York Times noted a key Israeli research facility was damaged during the attacks, with fires breaking out in laboratory buildings.Hebrew-language Yedioth Ahronoth reported notable damage to the Weizmann Institute after an Iranian missile hit Rehovot – one of the occupied territories’ foremost scientific institutions.

The death toll since Friday’s attacks has risen to 10, with 620 wounded overall. Tel Aviv District Commander confirmed rescue operations continue for people trapped under rubble in Bat Yam.
Sirens sounded in the Negev region amid concerns over possible Iranian drone infiltration. Hebrew outlet Walla verified three fatalities from Iran’s missile strike on Bat Yam.
Tel Aviv Municipality reported several buildings severely damaged by direct hits are now at risk of collapse.
