Axios: Tel Aviv turns to Washington for help in past 48 hours
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, reports that Axios-quoting two Zionist officials-claims Tel Aviv has repeatedly requested Donald Trump, the U.S. president, to join Israeli regime attacks against Iran over the past 48 hours.
according to Axios’ unnamed source, there is a possibility of U.S.involvement in Israeli operations against Iran. The source alleges Trump told Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, during a recent conversation that he would act “if necessary.”
The same Zionist source claims Washington is reviewing Tel aviv’s request and that Israeli officials hope Trump will agree.
However, Axios cites an American source stating that while Tel aviv has asked the Trump administration to join strikes against Iran, the White House is currently not considering this option.
The report follows Friday’s terrorist attack (June 12) by the Israeli regime on Tehran and several other Iranian cities, which killed military commanders, scientists and civilians.
In response to this attack last night marked phase three of Operation True Promise 2 with Iranian missiles striking targets in Israel. The IRGC’s combined aerospace offensive involved dozens of missiles and drones bearing code ”Ya Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS).” These successfully penetrated multiple layers of Israel’s air defenses during Eid al-Ghadir evening celebrations.
