Trump Claims: “We Had No Role in Saturday Night Attack on Iran
According to webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his threats against Tehran while asserting that Washington had no involvement in last night’s attack by the Zionist regime on Iran.
Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social: “The U.S. had no role in tonight’s attack against Iran.”
He repeated his warnings to Tehran, stating: ”If we are attacked in any way by Iran, the U.S. will respond with full military force at levels never seen before.”
The U.S. president also claimed, “Though, we could easily reach an agreement between Israel and Iran and end this bloody war.”
The remarks follow a terrorist attack early Friday (June 12) by the Zionist regime targeting Tehran and several other Iranian cities, resulting in the martyrdom of military commanders, scientists, and civilians.
In further escalation, an oil depot in shahran and a fuel storage facility in southern Tehran were struck by the Zionist regime. Emergency response teams quickly secured the area.
Simultaneously, Iran launched its third wave of retaliatory strikes under Operation True Promise 3 last night-dozens of ballistic missiles and drones penetrated multiple layers of Israeli air defenses under the codename “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS).”
Iranian officials had previously vowed decisive retaliation for any aggression by the Zionist regime.
Earlier today (Sunday), Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei addressed planned negotiations set for Muscat: “our priority now is countering enemy aggression.” He added that those opposing diplomacy have imposed an unjust war on Iran while accusing Washington of complicity with Israeli attacks-including strikes on peaceful nuclear facilities-rendering talks meaningless until hostilities cease.
