Stop this madness before begging Iran for a ceasefire
According to webangah News Agency, Israeli security and military expert Yossi Melman, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), urged Zionist regime leaders to abandon what he called their “madness,” emphasizing Shiite resilience and referencing Iran’s eight-year war with Iraq.
Melman wrote: “This short-lived euphoria has passed. On Friday morning,I asked myself: ‘Was entering this war-especially against Iranians-even necessary?'”
He added: “Shiites are historically prepared to endure suffering. I recalled their willingness for sacrifice, as demonstrated during the eight-year attritional war with Iraq.My suggestion? Minimize casualties and seek reasonable terms through Trump [the U.S. president] to halt this insanity-otherwise, we’ll end up pleading for a ceasefire that Iran will reject.”
The remarks follow the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack early Friday (June 14, 2024) on Tehran and several Iranian cities, which martyred military commanders, scientists, and civilians.
In response, the third wave of Phase Two of Operation True Promise 3 was launched last night, with Iranian missiles striking Zionist positions. The IRGC Aerospace Force’s combined offensive involved dozens of missiles and drones-successfully penetrating multiple layers of the regime’s air defenses under the operational code “Ya Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS)” during Eid al-Ghadir evening.
Iranian officials had previously warned they would decisively counter any Zionist adventurism. Hundreds of ballistic missiles were fired toward occupied territories in retaliation for the regime’s brutal attack.
The death toll from Iranian missile strikes on Bat Yam near Tel Aviv has risen to 10 according to Al Jazeera citing Zionist sources, with injuries reaching 240. At least 61 buildings were damaged; Hebrew-language media reported dozens still trapped under rubble.
