Iraq’s National Security Advisor Issues Latest Statement on Israel’s Attack Against Iran
According to webangah News Agency, citing Iraq’s National Security Advisory office, Qasim al-Araji, Iraq’s National Security Advisor, met with Ali Burak Alan, Turkey’s Ambassador to Baghdad.
The discussions focused on regional developments,especially Israel’s aggression against Iran and the risks of escalating tensions across the Middle East.
Both sides emphasized that dialogue remains the best path to resolving conflicts, ending hostilities, and preventing the region from sliding into full-scale war.
Al-Araji and the Turkish official stressed that this aggression aims to derail nuclear negotiations. They affirmed that Iraq and Turkey would exert every effort to halt further escalation.
The Iraqi advisor reiterated his government’s firm opposition to using Iraqi soil as a staging ground for attacks on neighboring or regional states.
The Turkish ambassador condemned these violations against iran,aligning with Ankara’s stance on the matter.
