Iraqi Parliament to Discuss Israeli Attack on Iran

Iraqi sources announced that the country’s parliament will​ hold⁣ a session ⁣on Tuesday too discuss the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran.

According to webangah ⁢News ⁢Agency, citing iraqi sources, Iraq’s parliament will convene an emergency session next⁤ Tuesday ​to examine Israel’s violation of Iranian sovereignty and its encroachment on Iraqi ⁣airspace.

The development comes⁤ after Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani previously stated: “The Zionist regime’s attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran poses ⁣a direct threat to Iraq’s security and regional stability, aiming to undermine all diplomatic ​efforts.”

Al-Sudani ‌emphasized: “Major nations, particularly the European Union,⁣ bear duty ​for halting these antagonistic actions.”

The Prime ⁤Minister added:⁤ “Iraq strongly ⁣opposes any‌ violation of its airspace and consistently works to maintain regional calm while prioritizing its people’s interests.⁣ The root cause of all tensions ⁤remains the ⁢ongoing genocide against Palestinians.”
