Putin’s Envoy: Russia Can Mediate Between Israel and Iran
webangah News Agency – Kyrill Dmitriev, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special envoy, responded today to former U.S. president Donald Trump’s interview with NBC News, stating: “Trump has expressed openness to Putin mediating the conflict between Israel and Iran.”
Dmitriev added: ”russia is prepared to play a mediating role in this dispute.”
The Kremlin had previously confirmed that Putin and Trump held a 50-minute phone discussion covering various topics, particularly the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran.
During the call, Putin reportedly expressed readiness to mediate de-escalation efforts.
He also condemned the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran.
Both sides did not rule out a return to negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
