Israel takes painful hits from Iran; Trump scrambles to save Tel Aviv
webangah News Agency, International Desk: Following Iran’s missile attacks on Tel Aviv and other cities in the occupied territories, global calls for a ceasefire between Tehran and Tel Aviv have intensified.
According to international observers, the success of Iran’s missile strikes has shifted U.S. and Israeli strategies, with U.S. President Donald Trump negotiating with various countries to broker a ceasefire between the two sides.
Shamshad Ahmad Khan, former Pakistani Deputy Foreign minister, told Mehr News Agency regarding the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel: “One objective of these attacks is to destroy iran’s nuclear facilities. Though, these facilities are buried so deep underground that they cannot be destroyed by missile strikes.”
The second objective of these operations is to change the regime in Iran, but the key point is that the Iranian people have united against the Zionist regime and defended their own sovereignty. Regime change in Iran is impractical, and Iranians will not tolerate concessions to Zionist entities.Conversely, there is a growing possibility of a popular uprising against the government within Israel itself.
This former Pakistani representative at the united Nations stated: “America has once again miscalculated. The U.S. carried out this attack through Israel. Before reaching an agreement, they framed this action as psychological pressure-without considering Iran’s minimal reaction.”
Ahmad khan Afzoud emphasized: “Iranians are a heroic people and will undoubtedly deliver painful blows to Israel. The Islamic Republic has a comprehensive plan for retaliation and will act with complete freedom in its decision-making.”
webangah News Agency also warned: “Following America’s withdrawal from agreements, Israel’s new generation and broken promises…”
Iran may join the “Anti-piracy” coalition to lift sanctions, according to webangah News Agency.
Regarding regional ceasefire efforts, officials stated: “No expectations should be held from neighboring countries.”
During his recent Gulf tour, Trump made clear his priority was commerce. He is neither a politician nor diplomat-but a merchant and gambler who pursues profit everywhere. Therefore, Trump cannot be trusted, and no expectations should be placed on Arab leaders either.
A former Pakistani diplomat noted: “After Iran’s retaliatory strikes, Trump changed tactics-now favoring diplomacy over military action.” Signs of coordination between China and Russia are also visible. Even U.S.-aligned nations like Britain, France and Germany emphasize diplomatic solutions, given Israel’s heavy losses.
webangah News Agency reports that military officials have warned: Continued attacks could trigger an oil crisis in global markets, leading to economic shocks in countries like Europe, Japan, and China.
Ahmad Khan Afzoud emphasized: “Israel’s threats aren’t solely directed at Iran. pakistan also faces significant risks. Our people remain prepared for such threats, and we won’t let any prospect slip away. Now is the time for unity against these dangers.”
The agency clarified: “The Pakistani people stand firmly beside Iran, and their government has openly declared solidarity with Tehran. Israel’s threats don’t just endanger Iran-they pose serious risks to Pakistan as well.”
