Sudanese Official: We Stand with Iran
According to webangah News agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani stated: “We urge the international community to stop Israel’s aggression against Iran and adopt a peaceful solution.”
He added: “We reaffirm Iraq’s full solidarity with Iran and condemn the Zionist regime’s attack,which threatens Iraq’s security and stability.”
The Iraqi Prime Minister noted: ”The Zionist regime seeks to expand war to redraw the region’s map, and we emphasize Iran’s right to self-defense.”
Separately,Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid hosted Egypt’s Ambassador to Iraq,Ahmed Samir,at Baghdad’s Peace Palace on Monday,June 16,2025.
The Iraqi President stressed the need for unified international efforts and positions to halt wars threatening regional security, stability, and the future of its nations.
He called for prioritizing dialog and political solutions to all inter-state conflicts to preserve regional and global peace.
